Actually, that got me thinking (first time in 15 years, yes, but still), does the league have any sort of protocol in terms of confirming that a player is in fact injured? is a league official assigned to ensure the integrity (definitely fishyness can occur lol - as it would be quite easy - ie a player having a back injury which would put them on Long Term Injury status. Or as is the case with young prospects like Horvat. That they can't be sent down (I'm not quite sure if that is the case, perhaps someone could confirm?)
