You should never draft a player hoping he becomes a third or fourth liner. You can build a decent bottom 6 every offseason for like 9 million bucks if you pickup all the players from the scrap heap that teams have passed over for whatever reason. Then you look like a genius because "Wow that GM sure knew what he was doing! He's smart!"

The Leafs built the basis of a better bottom 6 this off season for like 7 mil than either of Edmonton or Vancouver. Komarov, Winnik, Booth, Santorelli, Frattin.

Marincin looked really good tonight. Nurse had a strong game. Draisaitl had a bit of a weak game. Yak2 has some really nice tools and knows what he's doing in his own end.

Yeah winnik is the only good signing there. Frattin isn't making the team. Booth will spend most of the season in the trainers room. Komorov is way overpaid for what he brings. Santorelli has been meh.
