I think they'll have Alt or Manning as a callup before they even consider Ollie. - johndewar
Yeah, I would rate the call up D list as:
Alt (or Ghost if the guy out of the lineup is Streit)
Manning
Ghost
Hagg
Lauridsen

That wasn't really the argument. The argument was whether every decision the flyers make is right - PhillySportsGuy
Well every decision I make is right, however the Flyers not so much!

That is wrong. The argument is not whether every decision the Flyers make is right. That is the evidence that the other poster tried to provide to say that the players he suggested could replace any of the current defenseman. The arguement was absolutely about whether a player like Lauridsen could replace Grossmann or Schenn. |

I'm speaking in general, both today and in the past. Every so often somebody says Lauridsen could easily replace (insert NHL defenseman), or that the Flyers aren't giving Ollie the chance he deserves, or something along those lines. I just don't see an NHLer in Lauridsen.
I'll leave today's argument to yous guys. |

Glad Rosehill was waived, they don't need him.
If they really need to kick someone's butt they still have Emery!!

I'm on my phone so it's a little difficult. I posted it yesterday and bob Mckenzie posted it on twitter yesterday |

Is it worth to mention Rosehill's gear and nameplate is still in the locker room per Bill? Perhaps this is just a paper move if he clears waivers? |

So, FWIW, I actually went back and read through the posts. MJL is right, he was simply arguing that replacing Grossmann or Schenn with one of the AHL kids would make the defense worse, not better.
It may have evolved from there, but that was his original point. |

What kind of music?
Country, Rock, Metal, Blues, Jazz, pop would all have different answers, but FWIW
Rock and Roll-The Rolling Stones
Pop- The Beatles
Progressive Rock- Rush
Metal- Black Sabbath
Jazz- Return to Forever
Blues- Tough one, but I'd go with Buddy Guy, love his stuff
Country-Johnny Cash
There ya go, that should start some arguments!! |

mjl cherry picked lauridsen to make his argument while ignoring better prospects like ghost, alt, or morin which were also in the original argument. |

Yeah maybe, but keeping him as the 14th forward, designated press box popcorn guy is ok with me as well. |
