Agree on Neal, but I still think he's a better player than Hornqvist. I don't like trying to predict injuries, it's too difficult unless we're talking about a player with David Booth's history.

Sorry, I cant hear you over Nonis yelling "who would have known?"

5 new hot dogs is the process
Hiring Linden with NO experience is the process
5 and 11 game ticket packs is the process
Throwing $$ at bad decisions is the process

I know it's not Tuesday but what the hell, we only beat the Oiler's goons by 1 goal.

Clb needs to send 2 of Erixson, Prout and Goloubef through waivers most likely. I would take Prout over Weber as our 7th guy, maybe even Goloubef as well. Erixson stays I imagine. Weber could possible even clear waivers if sent through. I know I said no to Elliott the other day instead of Weber but Prout has great size and would be a great addition imo.

all those teams have sub par goaltending... except for maybe Toronto. Florida has Lu, but i think his twitter account is his best asset at this point of his career.

subpar goaltending? Halak/Johnson on Long Island

We were horrible last year because we had Nabokov and Poulin/Nilsson, neither of whom could play 60 minutes..they were only decent for 40 minutes each game or less.

16th overall last year in shots against which is middle of the pack. Add even average NHL goaltending and we move way up. We're a bubble team but if our defense looks even marginally capable we'll make a run at a playoff spot.

Would definitely take Prout over Weber. He's also a righty.

I agree goaltending will look much better this season, I want to pencil the Isle in the playoffs, mostly to screw over Buffalo's chances of two awesome picks. I think the Metro will be tougher this year. The only really bad team in that division is Carolina. Do you think Reinhart is a difference maker?

In retrospect, 'autopick' and leaving the fantasy hockey world to chance....was a bad idea. But I did get Ryan Johansen as a 1st round pick! Imagine the luck! How about Don Knotts, or maybe Crispin Glover?

A guy in my baseball pool this year literally quit an hour before the draft so we had to leave his team in the league and had it autodrafted (silly Yahoo). 0 transactions all year. Finished 4th out of 12.

I'm impressed you like baseball, frankly. It's a bit slow for my taste. I found an autographed Ken Griffey Sr. baseball card at work, encased in plastic....on the floor of an unused closet. Thinking about having it priced, appraised, whatever.
But yeah, auto pick, never again.

florida will steal games I think

Buffalo will be very low, and so will carolina (man I hate that). I also think nashvilles going to be way down there (jokinen and roy do not make a team better if they are the added scoring). those are the 3 that will fight for mcdavid I think.

- numbear

Don't forget Reibero. The guy is a wanker but he's a fairly slick play-maker and will probably do well with Neal on his wing.

I think the main issue is whether Rinne is going to have a healthy year. If so, Nashville could definitely surprise

Baseball is a game of stats. It has to be, because the action and actual plays are few and far between. I don't mind catching the World Series, though

I agree about Florida. They'll be better this year. Here's my prediction on the bottom feeders:

21. Vancouver
22. Winnipeg
23. Toronto
24. NY Islanders
25. Ottawa
26. Florida
27. Edmonton
28. Carolina
29. Calgary
30. Buffalo

Bored. Here.

A quick little poem,
on number #14,
who once was the clutchest
scoring machine,
he once slayed the dragon!
and broke the wings streak!
He once did bite Bergeron,
who cried for a week!
Once, to Mike Richards,
he scooped snow on his blade
asking
"Is this how you party?
And how you get laid?"
But, the man follows orders,
Torts said to shot-block,
Game one, broken ankle-
Thanks, John, for the talk!
A broken jaw later,
and the season was through-
Who then, shall play with
thirty three, twenty two?
Let's get Iginla!
He's old, slow and fat!
Except, well, he hates us.
Yeah, well, there's that.
Perhaps this Vrbata,
he might do the trick!
we checked youtube highlights,
the highlights were sick!
Thus our man Alex, got shuffled
a bit,
But the man can crash nets,
screen shots, and talk sh*t.
Yeah, he's my favorite,
I've stated the reason,
Alex, good luck, on the
o' fifteen season.
