That comes with experience though. He would develop that. His problem is his inability to make some of those throws. A lot of them rather.

He did throw one god awful interception.

And Watkins did have to make a phenomenal catch to put them in range for a 58 yard kick. Overall Orton was fine but it's not like he put the team on his back and willed us to victory

308 yards passing, in your first game with a new team, on the road vs #1 ranked D is better than fine, IMO.

first Bill to do it in 28 games, which is sad cause Austin Davis does it on a regular basis now and he started the season as a 3rd stringer

308 yards passing, in your first game with a new team, on the road vs #1 ranked D is better than fine, IMO.

Orton is 31 yrs old(will be 32 in a month).


He's not even close to being at an age for a long term plan.
