I would imagine a team like the Panthers would give us a 3rd.
I'd do it in a heart beat. Spiller just isn't an every down guy. He would give the Panthers another weapon they desperately need outside of Olsen and Benjamin - sbroads24
A third would probably be our best option if we can get it for him. He clearly doesn't fit here and most likely won't resign here unless we give him the keys to a fleet of brinks trucks. |

I had a response, but for some reason it's coming up blank. Essentially, the fact that they are playing the run very well is only going to help them during the year. - buffalofan19

that's funny...I saw what you wrote and tried to respond, but mine came up blank too...
perhaps it didn't like what we wrote or how we wrote it - Michael Pachla
Fixed yours too. An extraneous ) in 19's post messed em both up |

I would attempt to move Spiller for a pick. Carolina could use a back.
They refuse to use him to his full potential. Might as well move him and bring up Brown - sbroads24
I would welcome that move, have been thinking they should test his market value for sure. I would love to see them get a good left guard who is a run grater and can pass block. That would help both the Pass and Run games. |

At least with a 3rd we can afford to spend our 2nd on a QB and have 2 third to get a few OL |

Yea, I wouldn't say it's all roses for them after one half.
Bengals look like they are still on their bye week |

Since it is Hockeybuzz, I'll change the subject back to the Sabres:
Somebody gave me a $100 gift card to Stubhub that I had forgot about. Thinking about using it on the opener.
My other thought was to save it for the World Juniors in Toronto. |

I can't wait for hockey to start. For some reason I 'm just not as interested in football as I was in past years. Still watch it, but not as dedicated as before.
Hockey on the other hand I am jacked for it this year and would like to see some of the Sabres young players enter the line up during the year. Hopefully GMTM finds a way to bring them up after some time in the A |

Yeah, that was my thought.
Thing is, the US-Canada pool is in Montreal, and the medal round is in Toronto. So, as long as Canada is in it (I'm thinking they're going to win it all this year), it's going to be expensive. |

According to the Hockey Canada Website, the individual games go on sale closer to the event. Only event packages are on sale. I believe Buffalo did it this way back in 2011 as well.

Thanks. I looked it up too. No way I would pay 600+ for. 300 level seats when half the games would be meaningless.
Id love to go and see 2-3 games |

Me either. I would think a lot of people are buying up the packages so they could go to the Canada games, and you could get the other games for a decent price on Stubhub. The US-Canada game on New Year's Eve would be outstanding, but you had better be prepared to open your wallet.
EDIT: and make the drive to Montreal. |

I couldn't find a date for meetings, but with the likely completion of the Bills sale, I saw this in an article:
"As Tim Graham of the Buffalo News explained earlier this week on PFT Live, Terry Pegula likely won’t be involved extensively with the running of the team, but Kim Pegula will. Which will give the ownership ranks a strong female voice for the first time since the passing of Georgia Frontiere, who assumed control of the Rams franchise after Carroll Rosenbloom died."

I've heard she's involved with the Sabres too, I wonder what she does? If she's a marketing type, finance type, etc |

Picking out colors, fabrics and carpeting for the locker room renovation?
Ok...it was tongue in cheek comment I couldn't resist...no need for the ladies to bash me!

I wound up going for the Toronto package, had all the knockout games so i figured it'd be worth it. |
