He deserved it with the sh!t he spewed pre and post draft. IMO it's playful banter.

I'd of expected the same "I told you so" from him if it were Reinhart going out with an injury.

Draisaitl will have the best year...by default yes...but I still think he will be in the mix for best pick out of that draft.

I do think Reinhartlays his nine games, goes back with a short list of things to work on...get bigger, put on muscle, refine skating , go to net and shoot more. I then see him starting 2015 -16 in the AHl...for a couple of months...no shame in ushering him in slowly...we won't "need" him until the following season.

Now I do keep thinking that McCabe is going to be a stud

Not sure, but I think I've seen others post that once you've completed 4 years of Juniors, you don't have to go back/aren't eligible anymore. This coming season will be his 5th there, but his first was only 4 games so I assume that doesn't count.

IF he turns out as expected .. He should be here long before that.

Kerby Rychel is in the same boat this year as he has a late birthday(yesterday) and is eligible for AHL duties this season.

That's great, either way I don't think he will play in the ahl next year unless he has to rehab a major injury.
