Class act here. Regarding the Jim Schwartz stupidity:
I thought it was so disrespectful. So disrespectful," Tate said. "I didn't like it at all. If I knew I wasn't gonna get fined, I would have snatched him right down off the shoulders and threw him on the ground, personally -- but, you know, obviously, I couldn't do that.
So...the ONLY thing that stopped him from physically assaulting someone was that he might get fined by the league. Not common decency and a knowledge of avoiding nonsensical violence.... |

IMO letters are on jersey are the biggest thing talked about in hockey that doesnt matter. "This person should be captain and that person should of got an A." If the guys on your team are leaders, they will be leaders. The letters ironed on a jersey is just a formality. Ex.) if stafford or hodgson or whoever are teaching players what they know, standing up for teammates, leading by example, they would be considered "captains" in my book
All that behind me, i believe a team needs strong leadership and a team lacking with it will sink - gerbe42

I'm going to assume that when you said Grigs, you meant Girgs. Easy mistake to make.
It would be pretty difficult to give Grigs a letter here in Buffalo, seeing as how he's in Rochester at the moment. - HonkFortheGoose
perhaps this, for future reference:
Grigorenko=Grigo
Girgensons=Gus

wow they were so salty about that its nice to be the on the winners side for once. Honestly, if i went back to my old workplace and dominated like swartz did i would have been just as cocky and shoved it in their face. Screw PC |

golden tate is a helluva receiver...kinda cocky...would expect something like this from him...
perhaps he shoulda found the kid with the laser and simply burned Schwartz's retina's out...
or he shoulda taken out his frustrations on their kicker |

Would you guys be interested in picking Jakub Kindl up off waivers? - RedDog18
I would. I prefer to see Risto, McCabe and Pysyk (if still eligible) all in the AHL for one more year. |

Nope. Pysyk stays up. He's paid his dues. And is seriously one of the more underrated defensemen. Ristolainen and McCabe should be in the AHL for at least one more season. |

Good chance both stay up, especially if they decide to go with 8 D. |

I think Pysyk is one of these guys that half the fans underrate him and the other half overrate him.

Per Nolan: Risto has been skating with men since he was 17. That tells me he's here to stay.

Pysyk is what he is. He's not flashy so it's easy to over look him. What he does do well though, is make a great outlet pass. He's also very sound positionally. He is the guy that will allow his partner to carry the puck up ice because he's fine with staying back to cover when needed. He's not a huge guy that's going to lay someone out. But, he is a perfect PK guy and can fill in on the PP when needed as he does have some offensive skills, though he choses not to use them regularly.
Basically, he's a 3/4 guy that could be a 5/6 on a really deep team. |

Today, at 22.
More experience, more size, and he's going to free up one of Risto or Myers to rush the puck.
He'll never win a Norris, but I'm glad we have him. |
