Which is what I did when I was 21 with a very large concrete company.
The construction industry has no room for drama queens nor floaters.
If you end up being one of those, you will be lucky to work one day out of the week coming out of the Union hall.

I will have some spare time during the winter when I take my few month resting period that I have earned.

Quick story Ken.
I seen Teddy Nolan last week walking across the street on my site at canalside.
Before the Caps preseason game, morning of.
I was shocked it was him so early in the morning at 7:30 am walking to the arena.
I said hey Teddy.
He stopped with no hesitation.
I just walked up to him in all my construction gear , fist bumped him and said, lets rock this poop this year Teddy.
He said , you know it!!
Then he looked down into our site and said hey it's coming long huh Dave?
I said yea Teddy we are supposed to be done by mid November.
He then said with a smile, "must be nice to have some coin huh David" ?
He must have thought that site was part of Pegula's Harbor center site too.
I didn't have the heart to correct him.
Just was an awesome exchange for 7:30 in thew morning.

been a long overworked summer . New roof (2 layer and cedar) and now doing siding after 5 till dark. Moved 1 of my trailers to Cuba this past weekend and wood cutting party this weekend for hunting camp. Had 2 days off besides the weekends all year. (have 5 weeks vaca.)
