yeah, a couple of good spurts in the latter 1/3 of the period, but not much overall.

the Bruins are being aggressive ... if the Flyers can get some better breakouts they might find a few odd man rushes in the 2nd.

decent period overall, outside the penalty. they clean up the passing and clears in that period, they look way better.

like to see some more O-zone time and like to notice the top line some more

Yeah I feel like they're getting better as the game goes on. The Giroux unit is still putting things together - they seem dangerous. The Flyers could have potted a couple that period easily. Everyone's settling in. I'm not worried thus far.

no, they sucked ... probably were the 1st team to be eliminated from the playoffs.

A couple rough spots, but overall a solid first period on the road. Rinaldo has to be smarter. Coburn looked a bit ragged. MDZ had the one bad pass, but looked good otherwise.

Coburn and Raffl had a rough 1st period ... hope the rust comes off a bit in the 2nd

I thought the call against Rinaldo was bullpoop. If anything call both him and Krug. Especially after the got away with a boarding and a cross check before that.

I thought Del Zotto did look competitive out there, like he was engaged in the game. That was one of the criticisms, but I didn't see that in the first.

81 games and two periods left! I'm optimistic!
