Schenn needed to do a little more on that 2-on-1; not saying he could've gotten a pass across, because 1) I don't think he could've, and 2) I don't mind a guy firing a shot off the rush.

But pick a corner, even if you miss. Can't just put it into the guy's chest.

I thought Del Zotto did look competitive out there, like he was engaged in the game. That was one of the criticisms, but I didn't see that in the first.

If he can't learn that...it's pretty damn fundamental. I don't know how he doesn't get that by now.

We all get that he's gonna take penalties. Fine. OK. I wouldn't put up with it, but he's been extended. So, the Flyers can't female dog and moan about it.

But it'd be nice to not do it when the score isn't tied, behind the play, in the first period against a quality opponent.
