Bold Prediction - Voracek 50 Goals - PhiFaninEdm
If he was a better finisher I'd say yea but for jake I think tops for him is gonna be 30 ish. He's still a prolific skater and passer. |

He is a good finisher (just look at his shooting percentage in the lockout half-year -- unsustainable but very impressive). Just doesn't shoot the puck enough at times. |

The same way Cheechoo scored 50+ in consecutive seasons. |

I can't see that happening. Even if we have a mediocre season. If hexy is true with this patience game, then I think he is safe after this season despite outcome, but gone after the following if we start out bad or aren't in a good spot mid way season. |

Can Hextall just let Dan Bylsma sit out there while employing Berube as the Flyers coach? C'mon, who are we kidding? |

Bylsma will replace McCllelan in SJ.
The internet has been trying to fire the guy since at least 2012, I think this is the year they get their wish. |

Maybe I'm just dwelling on some failed attempts I observed then. Hey if he can really be a 50 goal scorer then by all means be Jagr 2.0 after all I've always considered him a poorman's Jagr |

So, not to take the conversation away from...well, whatever it is that's being talked about, but:
Peter Mueller is being placed on unconditional waivers today. If he clears, and refuses assignment to the AHL, his contract will be terminated.
My question is, is this something the Flyers could look into? Say you do the same thing with, for the sake of argument, Chris Pronger in the final 2 years of his contract. Ask him to waive his NMC, and waive him. It's unlikely that a team will take on his $4.9M+ cap hit, even though he's only making $575K/season. If another team takes him, fantastic. If not, have him "refuse" to go to the AHL, and terminate the contract. Then, sign him as an advisor at $575K (or more) a year. Thoughts? - jmatchett383
Can't waive and send an injured player to the AHL. |

That is an immense amount of offense for one team. take a look at last years stats and find a team that had 9 players with 40 or more points. And 6 players with 50 or more points. |

I don't think MDZ goes anywhere this season. I'm willing to bet Grossmann goes down with a injury leading to Ghost's insertion in the lineup. Ghost plays well enough to take over the spot.
Honestly, what's so terrible about having puck moving defensemen? - KGBflyers10
Having too many of them, and not enough physical play in the lineup. |

As I said earlier to a few other posters, this was mostly just throwing numbers out there for each individual player vs. the team as a whole. A handful of the players will score less, plus there's sure to be some long term injuries and/or guys that have down years. If anything, it's a hope and certainly not an expectation. |

I like him as a coach, and I suspect that once he finally does get the boot, that he won't stay unemployed for long. |

Dubinsky now possibly out long term as well for CBJ.
No Horton. No Jenner. No Dubinsky. And RJ going into the season completely cold.
They are going to be rough to watch out of the gate. |

Took me a minute to figure out that RJ was Ryan Johansson, not RJ Umberger. |
