At least this will keep the vultures away for a good long time. We shouldn't have to listen to talk of the Bills or Sabres moving to another city for as long as Terry and Kim are around. |

Pegula might be the best thing that happened to the City of Buffalo. He's added stability to the city by investing so much through the purchase of both franchises and the HarborCenter. And, from the reports that were coming out of the NFL owners meetings yesterday, it would seem a new stadium will be the next project. |

Thought: Just was reading a yahoo article comments about Pegula's buying the Bills and the stadium rumors.
The rumor is the Pegula's want one downtown and or on the waterfront. People were commenting this will kill the tailgating and tailgating is the best part. Maybe its because I'm 34, but Im so over tailgating. I don't need to tailgate before a Sabres game so I feel no need to slug 11 beers before a Bills game. They don't let you park till 9 anyway so you cant cook up a real meal besides burgers and dogs anyways. I'd rather have a classier stadium environment like the hockey games have where I can do the family thing or enjoy beers in the games. |

The NHL just released the official opening rosters for each team. It doesn't appear that we sent anyone down, however, it does have McCabe listed as injured. |

I didn't want to count on that. You never know what the kids will want to do with the fortune their parents made. |

The Kids seem to be mega sports fans. They seem pretty level headed. |

Definitely. All that does is help to solidify the regionalization of the Sabres. I would imagine he'll continue to have Bills training camp in Rochester as well for that same reason. |

Training camp isn't leaving St. John Fisher for a long, long time. The regionalization is definitely a factor, but, from what I understand, they also have a really sweetheart deal with the college for the use of the facilities. |

As I got older I stopped going to Bills games. The tailgating was always good and I love being at live sporting events but too many people there who couldn't handle their alcohol ruined the experience for me. I made the big mistake of bringing my daughter one year and that was the straw that broke this camel's back. I haven't been to a game since.
If a downtown stadium created a more family atmosphere at the games I would be all for it.
Then again, I live in VA now so I won't be going to game any time soon either way so my opinion doesn't really matter. |

Its a good deal for the team, but it brings alot of people out to the college - and generates a good amount of concession money - during a time when it is otherwise abandoned, too. |

All valid points, but I don't think tailgating is going to meet its end with a downtown stadium anyway. |

Right. It's the best place they could possibly be right now. The only way it stops is if the school gets new leadership, and for whatever reason, doesn't want the school associated with the team. |
