I'm hoping one of the new guys has looked good in the practice shootouts. These are some grim numbers. Read is still at 40% but was only 1/6 last season.

Only 2 for 12 against Bergeron. He got owned by Kelly(1-4), Spooner(0-2), and Cunningham(1-3) too. Just an overall horrible night for the Captain.

That guy can't do anything right -- he's -1 in a game where the Leafs gave up four ES goals, yet plays the most minutes out of anyone on the Leafs, plays on the PP and PK...yet "he didn't do enough" and he wasn't "a $7 million player."
