I was surprised, though, especially on a team that is searching so hard for a bright spot, that you didn't dedicate any analysis to the young-ins that might fill out the blueline corps.

thx, schultzie...it was a long read (reed) as is...didn't want to delve too much deeper into the individuals...tried to do that when I was "building the roster"

This synopsis is dead-on-balls-accurate Mike.

Ive got two comments.
1. Anyone that thinks Buffalo will surprise some people they are wrong. Goaltending will average out the curve.
2. I think people are on crack if they think the Isle's are going to be a team that competes for a playoff spot. Regardless of the two late pick ups on D they are a bad team. If Tavares ever gets hurt again they will challenge Buffalo for the bottom spot.

Basically after three beers I can tolerate it.

The Isles won't be a good team. They're not going to be bottom 3 either.

It's still a bottom 5 team, but I don't know that I'm willing to say they'll be the worst.

This will be a fun season to watch IMO. We're playing with house money !

If they score some goals and lose 5-4 I'm entertained. Bottom line is - they HAVE to finish in the bottom 2 or the season will be a failure.
