interested to see some of the sabres kids play, the NHL package is awesome for being able to see more players around the league and I end up with a permanent thumb injury from flipping

That's what he said. He was mostly just saying that because a lot of fans keep saying the reason he needs to go down is to get bigger. So he said that it's just not going to happen during the season. That's what you do in the off season. It's what summer is for.

there seemed to be a decent amount of empty seats honestly and like cab said many of the players probably arent known by many of the casual fans.

This brings up a point i want to make...smart phones have diminished sports atmospheres. I notice countless people staring down at their phones during the game not paying attention or cheering. why even go?
