My Rec team has better defensive zone coverage.

That looks like the Flyers defensive positioning thus far this year. Luke Schenn is -6, Claude Giroux is -5, Voracek is -4

Eakins looked rattled in the post game presser. It could be another long year in Oil country.

The good news is they will be able to draft another top 6 forward this June. Who needs depth? Or defence? Or goaltending?

Eakins is in a tough place. He's a rookie coach with a rookie team. He wants them to be confident, so he's focused on the positive. It's a baby steps operation in Edmonton this year.
