I can't think of any free agent defensemen off the top of my head. Who's available? Salo?

And I don't see a trade as a good option since they will be considered desperate if you will.

if true then that is rediculous.....It's not like they lost a top flight guy....he's a decent 2nd pairing guy......until they spend "asset's" to upgrade their D then we are stuck watching a below average, over paid group of D that has been vastly overated by management.....Holmgrens mess is now Hextalls.

Murray is essentially a 7th at this point so that wouldn't help. There's a reason why these guys aren't signed. If Coburn is out long term, we're in deep doo-doo.

The trade-Coburn-for-a-forward idea was always stupid. This just proves it.

Mason really sucked on that empty netter.

That's why I said UFA.. I guess Salo as a stop gap.. What I'm getting at is why rush Alt or Ghost and put them into a bad situation. Let them play big minutes in the A.. If you're going to bring in a guy because you have to, bring a UFA and let it ride.

It was 6 on 26 shots (with an ENG) Some of the goals were bad luck tips etc, but the 4th goal was insanely bad.

Even Ryan Parent had an occasional good game.
