Do you actually watch hockey? or are you just vying for that Annual Troll Trophy.
If you DID watch hockey you would see Burrows is a long way from not being a very positive factor on the Canucks (we've been over the reasons of why EVERYONE on the Canucks, and not just Burrows, had a shi*ty year last year ad naseum but I"m not going to repeat it just for you. Next time pay attention and you might not look like a tool). Stick to your beloved Flames and their inevitable 2014 Stanley Cup winning season - Zogg
man you get worked up easy.
and not sure where you get that any flames fan thinks they are cup contending, but feel free to through it in your hissy fit.
Burrows had a good first game, give him that. And he played with that bite that he needs to return to form. But you got the goggles on. and As usual, I disagree with you. Go back to the "you don't watch the team" argument that you default to if you want.
Theres a lot hanging on to the past seasons going on with this team. I hope it doesn't go on for to long. |

What we have learned there is that if you're going to throw your Oilers apparel on the ice in a hissy fit, make sure that your phone is not still in your pocket |

Manny was being paid 2.5 mil back then and that was expensive for a third liner. he scored 7 goals last year and 7 in his final year as a Canuck. He was never the same player when he returned from injury.
Gillis made the right move . He offered him a spot with the club other than a player. - VANTEL
I don't disagree that it was the right move to go another direction than Manny, but for Gillis to claim he needed to protect Manny from himself was a cop out and likely cap circumvention (I could be wrong but I think his salary did notcount against the cap after being shut down). If gillis wasn't happy with a player, move on but no need for theatrics. |

i know this is a lil off topic but, does anyone know what happened to Joe Cannata?? last i heard he was assigned to Utica, but when i checked their roster it was only Markstrom and Eriksson and there is no news on the Comets site as to him being assigned to the ECHL. DID HE JUST DISAPPEAR??? |

Might be back in his NCAA college, I think he's still eligible. |

I have no problem with valid criticism, the key word being 'valid'. But whether you were just trying to stir up sh*t or just like to play devil's advocate or whatever other reason, you were way off with respect to your Burrows comments. Other than last year which was a complete clusterf*ck for every single player on the Canucks, Burrows has played well (tough to be at your best when you've had to deal with nagging injuries all year, which reflected in his play and stats - as was the case with almost every single Canuck last year).
After last year's debacle, it's great to see the Burrows we're used to seeing, given he's finally healthy. You can see he is re-energized and back to being his pesky self, in on the forecheck creating havock, and also involved in creating and being an offensive option.
So, don't give me this bulls*hit about having gogles on, it's the usual response from someone who can't articulate and demonstrate any sort of examples to back up what they throw out as being any sort of insightful hockey commentary. As I said, stick to your Flames unless you actually have something valid to say which you can back-up with facts, and not just throwing out arbitrary opinions, which have already been debunked many times by people who actually follow and know the team. |
