this will guarantee another loss, i thought they had all this figured out, i thought last year they realized schenn sucks as a top line winger, for the life of me i cannot fathom why simmonds is not on the top line, he is by far there best player and has the guts to go with it.

I think it's because both jake and he are right wingers and that Jake and G have some chemistry..

Yeah, I don't like that VLC line at all and, IMO, Raffl has doesn't anything that even remotely warrants him playing on the top line

Headed to the Phantoms season opener tonight with my daughter in Scranton. I'm looking forward to seeing Ghost, Haag, Laughton, and Leier. I was looking over the Phantoms roster and they have some big guys on this team.

Not sure what's going on with Raffl -- he hasn't looked nearly as determined as he was last year. I understand his hands are questionable, but he was harder on the puck

I hope they dig down deep and get a win today.

Ducks at home then Dallas, Chicago and Pens on the road.

They could be 0-7 here.

I think the line changes are fine.

I'm not trying to be pessimistic, but I agree with you that it could easily be 0-7 if they don't sort this out.... those 4 teams are in the top of the league.. I really think Dallas is going to surprise this year.

Know what the interesting thing is? By the time all of these d prospects pan out (hopefully), you have an aged Giroux.

Having a couple of hard years to bring in some more elite level talent isn't exactly the worst thing that could happen.

Of course that would have to mean that Hextall also gets to run this team his way. With Snider and Holmgren still very much in the fold I doubt that will be the case. All the on ice stuff at the end of the day doesn't matter to me. This team's Achilles heel has been its management for a while now.

Weird days in Philadelphia, from my view anyway.

Dallas has some question marks on D but some spectacular top 6 forwards and a solid bottom six too.

There just aren't too many easy games anymore in the league.

I watched the Isles last night, they got a lot better.
