I don't think this is accurate. I think Cassels and Vey are pretty comparable in ceiling (with Vey being less gritty/2-way)
Edit: Shink, Virtanen have more offensive "potential"

Not many guys translate junior success to the pro's, vey has proved that in AHL, shink/virtanen not yet. Don't forget that vey won a scoring title in junior. The concern with him is his size.

We are talking pure offensive potential here, not risk. If we're including risk then it's not a fair comparison because obviously Vey is further along (and older) than any of our best prospects, any of whom could bust entirely. The notion in question is upside, and Vey is not touted as having 1st line upside, though obviously who knows what will happen. Shink and Virtanen on the other hand, have been discussed as having 1st line winger upside, not that they will ever get there, or even play in the NHL
