I know that Mike Gillis is known as the money ball gm, but does anyone know what Ballard and Booth's underlying numbers were before they came to the Canucks? It seems like in both cases the other Gms were just trying to unload bad contracts. Tallon didn't seem to have any actual interest in Grabner, and neither Samuelsson or Strum started the next season in Florida. That's not moneyball, that's just being bad at your job.
