So what defensemen could you get for B Schenn straight up? - Pelle31Forever
Either an established #3/4 guy with some flaws and may be due for a raise in a year or two or a young, struggling defenseman |

Thats why I'm all about a move to get a guy that can tear it up on Coots' wing on the 2nd line. It helps take the pressure off G and the top line but also solves your issue with lack of size/strong board play on the top line. - hereticpride
I'd like to see Read/Couturier/Umberger remain intact for while. I really like that line.

Brandon Gormley seems incredibly attainable after not making Arizona again. |

Basically. Flyers are better off keeping B. Schenn unless something great comes along. It's kind of similar to Larsson in NJ, but on a smaller scale. You'll want offers based on Schenns potential, but teams will make offers based on his floor and hope to buy low. |

Eric Brewer's in the lineup tonight for the Lightning; not sure who came out of the lineup for him -- maybe he's being showcased, if PSG's on point about his availability |

At least Schenn has shown more flashes than poor Larsson. Unless somebody wants to over pay, or give up significant draft pick assets for a veteran, there's no need to do anything rash.
Expecting a bubble season all along, I don't mind seeing a rough go. I just want to be sure that they have a long term vision that they won't sway from |

I wouldn't say trash. Schenn and the players that Schenn could bring back have value. I just don't believe Schenn would be the centerpiece of a large deal that brings back high level talent.
Only other option would be to trade Schenn for a disgruntled player who a team just needs to unload. Evander Kane or Ryan Kesler type of situation. |

I didn't think it'd be pretty, but I thought this was a 95-point team
But that was with all hands on deck -- never in my worst nightmares did I think Schenn would look this bad through three games
