One thing I do like is that they are keeping on the wing. Pick a position and leave him there. However its not playing wing or center that concerns me about young Mr Schenn, its the utter lack of jump and passion that he has shown so far this season.

I said it earlier; get your feet moving, throw a big hit, make a play, hell drop the damn gloves if thats what it takes but just snap out of it already. As long as he continues to play without any sense of urgency or heart, it doesnt matter what position he plays or whom he plays with.

JFC, Luke may have his faults, but at least he stands up for his teammates and has heart. Now if he only had better wheels and some more hockey sense...

That's a good effing team, man

Putting Simmonds, G and Jake on the same line really effects the depth of the team though. The top line would be beastly, but the rest of the lineup would struggle to produce points.

Not only this but where has this idea that Simmonds should play LW come from, as if this is idea is so brilliant? When has Simmonds ever playes LW for a long period of time or at all? I clear as day remember a Voracek-Briere-Simmonds line at the beginning of the 2012-13 season but never at LE here at anytime. If this happened in LA, well Simmonds was a penalty killer there but that fell through.

I said all along I wouldn't have been amazed at anywhere between 2nd place and 7th place in the division. Still feel that way. When pressed I had them finishing a few points out of the last WC spot.

I think they will rebound, make a late run at it. But I'm still not sold they make the playoffs.

I think he'll be gone too. He's a bit of an bumhole. I think he's made more for college where he can control everything and the players only have to deal with him for 4 or 5 years at a time.
