I'm not sure why you're saying that. I saw Mitchell with a bunch of different players yesterday, but not in the 1st two games. The lines were all jumbled up all game yesterday though. And I'm assuming some of that had to do with Foligno not playing. Though if I were Nolan, I would have just plugged Flynn into that spot and left the rest alone.

Don't over analyze it . The main message is RELAX . I am wondering if they are going to have to cut of foot traffic on the Peace Bridge ? To many people ready to jump ! It is just a game . They are rebuilding . We all hoped for the tank .

If there is one bright spot....the two young guys who we want to show promise are doing just that...

I agree with you though, but I'm also a Flynn fan so I'm fine with him being a spot-starter that moves up in lines.

The reason I think that plugging him into Foligno's spot makes sense to me, is that that line has been the 3rd line anyway. Flynn is a good 3rd/4th liner. I wasn't sure what was going on with the lines or defensive pairings yesterday. I don't know if Nolan was trying to get something going but I felt like there wasn't really much cohesiveness in who he was sending out there. It was pretty much just a mess from beginning to end.

It's possible. I was at the 1st and 3rd game, which makes it easier to see who's out there and away from the puck since you're not forced to see what the camera is showing you.

Nah, he's a perfectly fine 3rd line player who may fill in for a few games on the 2nd line (THAT part shows a bad team). I think many teams have players just like him on their 3rd line.
