Not really. That's part of the issue. Berube doesn't have a lot to work with. That said, I'm not a fan of a lot of his decisions.

The offensive zone is just another matter altogether -- I can't even deal with that right now. I have lots of opinions and I liked them for the first 10 minutes, like everybody else, but some of this poop has got to change -- they're better than this.

If the coach was Jesus, maybe. It must be nice to draft skilled defensemen and have them play for your team on entry level contracts while supplementing them with moderately priced free agents.

Still, canning the coach doesn't count against the salary cap, doesn't cost draft picks, and gives the illusion of hope that it was the coaches fault.

Please, no more trades for slow footed defensive defensemen.

Maybe if the Flyers got away from this terrible music they'd look half decent.

Bear down is one I can believe in -- Matt Read is especially guilty, late in shifts, of trying to flick pucks out of the zone.

I realize it isn't easy, and that you're tired. But if it's on your stick, you have to focus and get the effing thing out, not hope it gets out
