He was caught when he was walking down the sidewalk and there was a car pulled into a driveway that was blocking the sidewalk; he stepped around the front end of the car, wobbled, and used the car for support. The car that was blocking the sidewalk was a police cruiser.

as soon as you use the key you're technically DUI.

I think basically they say drinking impairs your judgment so if you have the key and access to the case you MAY drive off in it.

It's a bit far-fetched.
