do you:
A) put him in a position to score, aka on 5v3s?
b) put him on the 4th line?
c) scratch him?
d) put him on his off wing on DEFENSE on 5v4s?

answer that question genius?

or you play him less than 5 minutes on the opening night? or scratch him 2 weeks in?

Was he worse defensively thatn Gagner? Hemsky? Eberle?

he played poorly because he was put in a poor position, if you're too (frank)ing slow to figure that out than obviously you don't know (frank) all about hockey.

I'd be the worst coach, you're ok with Eakins PUTTING THIS KID IN POSITION TO FAIL, but i'd be the bad coach. Give me a (frank)ing break and try to learn something about hockey, or actually try paying attention to the position he put Yakupov in, and the reasons why he was playing poorly..

Hall improved his PPG but still regressed in advanced stats, Perron played good yes. Nuge regressed, Eberle regressed.

Our 5v5 regressed, possesion regressed, PP regressed, PK regressed. Everyone except MAYBE Hall and Perron regressed.

You put an offensive first sniper on the 3rd and 4th lines on his OFF wing when the kid made his name taking one timers from the right hand walls, chances are he's not going to succeed.

He played mostly with plugs and mostly on his off wing where he couldn't do what he did best. then people want to go "geez, what's going on with Yakupov, why is he playing so bad?" answer seems pretty obvious to me

The only Jamboni on this site is you potatoe head. Who said I hate Eakins? I just don't know what to make of him yet. He hasn't done enough this year to warrant an opinion as yet.
