relax,I'm not a Eakins believer myself but only time will tell,there's Fan's here that believe Eakins still the proper Coach so we all agree and disagree but at the end we all want the Oil to succeed,we only have to hope that if Eakins fails that MacT will have big enough cojones to admit that he was wrong and make the change need it.

I doubt it will get to that level and as I said earlier I reallllllly dont want to be the guy who bashes Eakins on a daily bases but the Petry thing is rather strange considering that yes the other dmen have been worse....on that note tho I hope that Nurse plays a hell of a game and shows us what he can do tonight

It's a total adventure! Plus I like being single so engaging is these doomed relationships is a nice way of playing it safe. I'm getting good at these 3 month relationships. Once you get to that point around the 2-3 week mark it time to hold on to your ass, cuz things get bumpy quick.

I don't want him to fail, I want him to succeed more than anything. The revolving carousel of a coaching staff has been a joke. But Eakins has done exactly nothing, at all, to show me he's a competent coach with a plan and knows what he's doing

If the play is in the offensive zone he's not bad. If it is anywhere else on the ice he gets his teeth kicked in.

Doesn't have the wheels to really defend the rush well because he struggles with gaps so he either gives up the zone or gets burned. Isn't strong enough to defend low in the zone. Unless its a damn near perfect breakout set up he isn't getting the puck out under control.

He's like Andrew Ference but sub out some board work for having a big shot
