I think of all the assets you have he should be the last option. Eb, RNH, Yak all have value.

Question is, whats there value?

And I ask you that Honestly without hoping for some sort of RNH and 1 1st for ovechkin back.

The team needs stability IMHO and that can only come with leader ship and exprience. And Ference is not the guy for that job.

If you get ridd of your best player (Hall) you are commiting youself to rebuilding atleast another 2-3 years.

i think Eakins is desperately looking for the fix and overthinking things abit.

as ive said a million times, this franchise has much deeper problems than just the coach. and do i think petry would've made a huge difference? hells no. but nonetheless, wtf are u thinking scratching him?

how many times am i gonna see that open man out front?? like over and over and over. how can Eakins NOT be teaching that? of course he is. there's something fundamentally wrong here. and its a mixture of system and an inept roster.

maybe it is a bold move that needs to happen. its gotta be something. confidence from some success will go so far imo. but we cant get over that hump, so its this never ending losing. and attracting impact guys is so tough.
