Especially if it's a bar tab for drinks only like in that picture. If that person were paying cash for each drink order, they would (should) have left $1 per drink, which, conveniently, would be $5.

I've probably paid for a bar tab on a card 10 times.

Bar tab comes down to number of rounds and complexity of drinks. $1 bottles, $2 pints, $3-5 for cocktails, depending on how obnoxious they are.
