agreed, but the new lottery odds won't guarentee anything. I just don't think tanking works. It sets a club culture of losing and half-heartedness.

Short term, if you're drafting at the top and drafting well outside of that you wind up with a lot of talent, losing culture evaporates quickly.


It's been the best way to build a championship in the salary cap era. Maybe not intentional tanking but drafting very high. I don't think this team is un purposely mailing it in, I just think they're poop

He can pass but he looks like an 18 year old playing in the nhl. He needs some time in juniors. Playing on the 4th line will do nothing for him.

That arena is something special come playoff time.

Im not sure they're interested in winning either. So far seeing a lot of punch in, go through motions, punch out, collect paycheque.

However if you are going to play Reinhart, then put him in a position to succeed or send him down. He's not good enough right now to be here. I thought after game 2 he could stay, but apparently he isn't good enough

Mezeros was a shell last year and playing awesome so far this year.
Mitchell and McCormick are funny. We were ok in preseason because they were not playing the regulars against us..

i didnt realize that was the original argument but i would just say send him down, hes not ready for the nhl yet. Yes, this team sucks but to be able to grown and mature properly i think you need those older guys to set an example and teach as well.

I'm all for it, I'm still skeptical as to whether they are. It's not hard to imagine this team winning a string of meaningless games and putting themselves out of the discussion kinda like the lockout year.

Our best goalie. Our best goal scorer and our best def are gone. that's why we are not good.
