I agree, it makes no sense for him to be here. Only thing I could think of is that they kept him to fill in for an injured forward but even then I'm not sure that makes too much sense.

Add Pysyk into the lineup and suddenly the team may not be so embarrassing to watch.

I remember half jokingly saying it can't get any worse than last year. Blowing a 2 goal lead in the final 8 or so minutes to the one team icing a lineup worse than ours (perhaps even without their injuries) probably take the cake.

I want that top pick badly, but not like this. I hope they either make the roster moves you mentioned or send the kids as far away from this team as possible.

I like what I've seen so far. But I need to see him keep it up over a period of time. I realize there's going to be times that the compete level isn't quite as high, but I still need to see fight in him for a few months before I'll say he's really completed turning the corner.

They'll probably make the playoffs but I don't know much about the other teams to think that they could challenge for the calder cup.
