LMAO. Yeah. Pomona has a big swap meet. That race track there is huge. I have actually never been to the swap meet. But have been the NHRA drag races there. I was told they have a huge vehicle swap meet. Tons of parts and stuff. Been told by many I should attend to find good prices on parts for my car. I live in the high desert. Im a bit out from those cities. I honestly dont like the city. I was born in LA. Lived there for awhile. Now my humble little desert town is being over populated with section 8 welfare. LA is pushing all the people up into my area now. Now I have to look to move further out. - poisondhearts37
Gang issues up there too. Victorville? Apple Valley? I teach in San Bernardino. |

They'll probably make the playoffs but I don't know much about the other teams to think that they could challenge for the calder cup. - Sabresfan-365
Just wondering because everyone keeps saying its better for these guys to be in the AHL and learn what its like to win but I dont think the amerks are nessesarily That good. Also you have a bunch of NHL rejects skating around like gillies that dont care if they ruin the carrer of a young guy. I dont think we can protect these guys as well in the AHL. |

Win may be an exaggeration but at least the Amerks compete every night and will have a taste of the playoffs. Plus more than anything else the AHL can be a place to get used to north american hockey and work out some issues in their game (passing skating etc) so that they're not falling behind at the nhl level.
Edit: In most cases they'll get way more ice time as well |

There's plenty of guys that can police the kids in Rochester. That's really not an issue. The AHL overall is a more physical league, but that's probably better for their development. The career AHL guys leave it all out on the ice every night in hopes to get noticed and get a shot at an NHL spot.
Rochester will most likely make the playoffs. They have the last 3 years, and there's probably more talent on that roster right now than there were the last few years. |

I can agree with that. I think something we dont talk about alot tho is the fact that the AHL is kind of a dangerous league fo our high end prospects. Remember Zemgus and risto each recieved concusions there. One was a sucker punch from someone that probably will not sniff the NHL and zemgus got a head shot. Then this gillies incident. Bunch of rejects that dont care. |

I have a feeling Myers is going to be traded sooner rather than later. |

Yea I see your point. Like Goose said we've got a few guys there who can stick for them but with a league full of goon rejects it is a bit worrying. |

McKenzie tweeted this morning that he thinks the roster here looks very different by the end of the month. He didn't clarify what could be different though, from what I was told. (A friend told me about it, I didn't see it myself). |

Read from Bottom to top:
McKenzie "The Sabres have to be able to build their team & it doesn't happen overnight"
McKenzie "[Buf] now won't be what the team looks like in a few weeks."
McKenzie "On merit everyone said Grigorenko made team over Reinhart. The rules are the rules & Buf wanted to get a longer look at Reinhart"
McKenzie "...like the Islanders, are trying to flip now [into a playoff contender]"
McKenzie "You can't tell the Sabres to not do this because the Blackhawks did, the Penguins did, the Oilers tried to do it &..."
McKenzie "He's not going to tank. If they're not a good enough team because they don't have enough players."
McKenzie "Buf is in a massive rebuild and that's what happens [bottoming out]. They have a coach who might go nuts before the season's out"

Interesting. Well if myers is eventually traded, I think its because management belives alot in Risto. Also please no more draft picks |

Hmm yea I dont think that equates to Myers being traded. Maybe he just means alot more young guys will be up |

Goes along with what 89 was saying yesterday. My money is on TM moving the Isles 1st or Hodgson for a young player. I imagine if Myers gets moved it will be closer to the deadline when a gm who's facing the axe needs to make a big move to save his job. |

Any draft picks that we get in addition to what we have now I believe will end up flipped with other players we have in different trades. While we have a lot of good prospects, they may be packaged with one another and/or with some of the extra picks we have for higher end talent. |

I just hope it's someone with speed. Obviously, skill is needed as well, but this team is slow. |

Hodgson is someone I have never liked. I think it would be doing this team a favor by trading him.
PS. I saw hodgson, weber and stewart at the nudies last night |

Must have been really, really late. Game ended at 10, probably didn't fly out until at least 11:30, 2+ hours flight from RDU to BUF... |

Also According to insiders Philly tried to fast track a trade with Buf For Myers and now Anaheim and Detroit are again involved.
Teams competing for him is good news for us. |

Maybe afinogenov will come back if benoit changes numbers.(lol Jokes)
But seriously very good point we have two forwards (with some talent) that have speed in ennis and gus.
Id rather trade ennis than myers. But if eiter get traded i hope they take the risk and make it a blockbuster |
