yeah nothing crazy this early because a lot of players are question marks right now. im hoping he got a guy like that in fasching - gerbe42
That was a different type of trade though. That was for an actual prospect. The kind of trade we're talking about right now are guys that can step right into the lineup now and contribute. Fasching is still a few years away seeing as how he's still in college and will probably get some AHL time as well. |

do you really think goalies are our need? i think its our most solidified position in the pipeline, having said that you should draft 1 a year anyway. - gerbe42
Goalies are really un predicatable, Ullmark's gone from goalie of the year to having a GAA above 4 to start the year.
He'd certainly be an upgrade over the two we have now. |

Mckenzie mentioned that the sabres team will be different a few weeks from now, he may go after Reimer to try and make the current product more bearable. |

then we have guys like makarov, lieuwen, and johannson. i dont think its time to hit the panic button now just so we can lose by a little less this year |

I'm in a Fantasy Dynasty league, and someone tried to offer me Hemsky and Steve Mason for Toffoli and Holtby. The slight upgrade in goaltending was not worth it for me to give up Toffoli. I hit the reject button so fast it's not even funny. |

I think Grigorenko comes up Reinhart goes down
Risto goes back to AHL - or an older D is put on waivers (or potentially both) when Pysyk comes back
Unless the return is massive - I dont think you can trade Myers
Hodgeson has not looked good - and Deslauriers has looked lost out there as well
If there is a trade coming, I am sure it hasnt been based on this year's play...

Even if he wasn't, it's a dynasty league. Why would I essentially trade him for Hemsky?
That's terrible. I inherited this team just over a year ago. Basically, it's the Sabres right now. But I've managed to get a few really good young guys and I'm not parting with them. Yes, my goaltending needs to be upgraded. But I'm not going to do it at the expense of a guy like Toffoli. Especially when it's not that big of an upgrade, if any at all. |

This is the first Dynasty one I've done. It's been a bit tricky because the roster is huge (we have 30 guys total) and I wasn't able to draft my own team. I got what the previous guy had. I do have some really good players, but my goaltending is pretty much a mess at the moment. We can start 2 on any given night and right now I have: Lehtonen, Anderson, Luongo, Holtby and Enroth. I only had 4, but picked up Enroth so that I can at least get some saves if need be. |

yeah I'm gonna go ahead and have to disagree with you there. Hes made great plays that unfortunately haven't lead to the stat sheet because of his line mates and is a HUGE physical presence out there. One of my favorite players to watch actually |

I can't wait to get to see what the inside looks like. I'll probably wait a bit after it opens to check it out though. I'm at the FNC frequently enough that I don't need to rush. |

Same here. I have a feeling the first couple of games, the place will be mobbed, especially because the new and shiny building will be far more appealing than the product on the ice across the street. |

I love the guy that keeps spelling Terry "Terri."
I'm sure, based on his comments, he's one of those that refuse to allow any type of city development "at his expense" as he puts it. |
