Probably not, but I hope they do. I mean they rightly shouldn't encourage it, but they don't necessarily have to be proactive about (as in trades and other moves).

I get that and I don't like it but it is a sacrifice i'd be willing to make short term.

Although to be honest i'd prefer to see most of the younger players down in juniors or AHL actually competing for something instead of getting ripped apart here.

I imagine with players starting to get healthier some roster moves will be made, that alone should make the team better (or more bearable to watch).
