how do u figure?....they are not a good D...He is average right now, and playing big minutes. therefore if dealt the D probably regresses even more....which means the team is most likely worse and thus drafting higher....McDavid and Eichel come more into reach.

I think he can be. I change my opinion on most players a million times. He and Ennis are two guys I haven't. I think they are really good players victimized by being young and in a dysfunctional organization.

If they trade them, I hope they get value back

I haven't seen it, not saying he is horrible, but hes not some untouchable piece either ...and the point is ...most of us want the high pick, trading away one of your biggest minute munchers , probably makes your worse and gets you closer to that goal.

i'm not saying they should trade him away for nothing....just that they should listen to offers...and if they get a good one that helps you next season and going fwd. then i think they should/would do it
