I simply have no reason not to believe Gagne, if Homer doesn't comment on that situation. Cut and dry. This works with most situations. It doesn't matter if it's a situation of discipline or a light-hearted disagreement between two bodies.

I have a reason not to believe Gagne. He's pissed off and angry that the Flyers chose not to re-sign him. People who are angry about a situation might give a biased or untrue take on the situation. They may have an axe to grind.

Again, I'm not going to blame Holmgren just because Gagne is angry and hurt. I'm not absolving Holmgren. I am saying I'm not going to form an opinion because only one guy has spoken.

In my experience, quite often people who express their side of the story with anger and accusations are simply looking for sympathy or some other kind of benefit.

Maybe Gagne has a legitimate beef. maybe he doesn't. I don't have enough information to say one way or the other.

I wouldn't be against it but I would be worried to know what Edmonton would be asking for in return.

Having Perron would open up some options for the first line such as making it an easier decision to maybe drop Voracek down to the second and simmer up the first.

But you do have injury concerns with Perron and he doesn't shoot quite enough to fulfill the need I think the top 6 is missing.

I'd be hesitant to give up Schenn for Perron. Even though he's off to a sluggish start I don't think Perron will outproduce Schenn this year.

Another factor in Perron is, he's a shifty bastard with a lot of moves. I think he'd be a good shootout guy. He's right near 50% over the past few years in the Gimmick
