Nope Garner, my number sure isn't 555-DINK (sounds more like a male escort service). But I wouldn't even print this blog off to wipe my ass with, its a waste of paper, first two paragraphs are referencing something none of us care about, and the last part is lyrics to a song. Considering the state of our team right now, there are lots of things you could be writing about.

P.S. Just know that as a teacher, you are paying for me to read this on my prep

Oil need to be careful about firing Eakins too early. they are on the precipice right now of moving from disaster to catastrophe. fired Kruger after 48 games and brought in Eakins. now they're going to fire him after 100 games? who do they expect to hire next? because it's going to get to the point where their coaching options are limited to Guy Boucher, Paul Maurice and the rotted remains of Pat Burns. no one is going to want to go near that mess. Eakins has gone from promising prospect to an all but ruined reputation in 12 months.

Did you see the Oilers slogan for the season?

How Lowe can we go?

Speaks volumes.

So stick with the completely wrong coach for this group of players because you might scare off potential successors? That's a real winning strategy.

This guy has been a disaster from day 1.

The Oilers were a disaster way before Eakins joined them.
