Should Hexy decide the team needs to make a move I'm starting to see Laughton more and more as an asset.

I know everyone is excited for the kid but you can't ignore the track record the Flyers scouting dept has done the last few years with undrafted players. Read, Raffl, Bellemare.

If the team has a need in the top 6 forward group or the top 4 D men... and it's a fair deal involving Laughton, I think I'm okay with it.

That said, I don't expect one of you to agree with me.

I think the end game for Hextall is to have G, Couturier, and Laughton down the middle.

I think this business with Lecavalier is gonna work itself out. Eventually.

Regardless of that I think he becomes a more tradable asset with our scouting dept being able to pluck undrafted guys out of nowhere.

Does Couturier have the offensive creativity and talent level to be a 2nd line center? I have my doubts personally.

That was part of why I didn't want DeAngelo, if we only needed a puck moving D then I'd have said maybe.

I think it would be best for Sanheim to stay in junior longer for his development, but he could beat out our current defense before he becomes more well rounded due to how well he moves the puck and can skate out of trouble. For his whole game to be NHL ready, I would give him the time.
