i was a goalie as well and if it hit the post to me it meant they didn't get a good shot off.


and as i mentioned alot of those posts were shots that he deflected.. why does that part keep getting ignored?

But he's not. If it hits the post, it's not even a shot on goal. You have to remember that with Enroth being a smaller goalie, guys are trying to go up top on him. But he's still giving them very little room to work with and that's why they're hitting the post. He's making them miss, whether it's going off of him or the post. It's still not a goal, so why is this such a big deal?

And like Indy said, a bunch of the ones that have gone off the post have actually hit him first, so how is it that he's "getting beat" as you put it?

A) Hitting the post is not scoring a goal, and that's all the matters; but

B) If they were missing after trying to beat him up top, wouldn't they be hitting the cross-bar, not the posts?

They're hitting the crossbar too, but in general it's being called the posts.

The posts/crossbar are hit in every game every night. On more than one occasion.

on a crappy team such as this GAA is not a fair stat for evaluating a goalie.. but yes it still wont matter and it very well could end over 4
