Once Grigorenko gets here (should be here already) could Yak and Grigs be a nice tandem, along with Armia? Thinking down the road a bit probably.

I don't put any blame on him right now, the players gotta come together as a group and give a 60 min effort. They need to build a little confidence. Squeezing the sticks atm.

I'm trying not to judge players until the 10 games mark of the season but mezarous is making this tough for me. Glad to see zemgus dropping the gloves yesterday.

He may be struggling to start, but he's worth/will be worth every penny of that 6 mil. I'd take him here any day but I assume the conversation starts and ends with Myers.

He's been mishandled as well, eakins is a mediocre coach at best. And from what i've read and heard his work ethic isn't bad at all. Doesn't make up for the fact that he may or may not have issues with coaching but I wonder if that's a response to the way he's been treated and what's been asked of him.

I might be too hard on mezarous. On the panthers goal he did lose a board battle but hodgson could have supported better than just swiping the stick. Also stafford turns the puck over at the blueline causing a mini 2 on 1 I guess I can't blame mezarous for taking a penalty on that play.

Funny how Eakins was the hot up and coming coach when Edmonton hired him .Leaf fans were crying over it . They thought he would be their next coach. I think Edmonton's problems are a lot deeper than Eakins. How has YAK been mishandled ? Doesn't want to practice . Does not want to play a responsible game. He did not get screwed around like Grigorenko . He is a candidate to just go home and take big bucks from KHL.

agreed i've watched the oilers last 3 game and he has been their second best player behind hall

I have repeatedly stated why I am not high on Tyler Myers so if you cannot grasp it at this point then you have a reading comprehension problem, since you and several others have repeatedly questioned my opinion of Myers and I have repeatedly provided adequate response and credible opinion as to why I am not only down on him as a player but feel it might be in the team's best interest to trade him while they can get a king's ransom in return.
