Hey Bill,
I believe you meant the score was 13-2 for an 11 goal margin. They also blanked the Penguins 11-0 in 1977. I knew 9 wasn't right as I remembered that shut-out plus the 12-2 Red Wings and 10-0 Maple Leafs games. They also blanked the Kansas City Scouts twice by 10-0.

The good thing about it is they are taking a lot fewer penalties, especially stupid ones, so they are giving themselves a chance in these games

And they'd better continue, because if you're dressing guys who likely aren't going to help drive ES scoring, you just have to hope they pull a 2-1 or 3-2 win based on solid team play and goaltending -- it can happen. Calgary beat the Blackhawks this week, despite getting outshot 50-18
