BoHo to Utica for a conditioning stint. I think they can keep him down there for 2 weeks. Buys the canucks more time to evaluate him, bring him back up for 8-9 games then send him to the WJC and after that you can decide if you want to keep him up for the year and burn a year of control off his contract. Sending him to Jr after the WJC wouldn't be the end of the world. I personally think he's good enough to stick, but are the canucks really going anywhere this year? might as well extend UFA status as long as possible |

Avs fired their head scout, wouldn't mind seeing him here since their drafting has been decent. - Nucker101
sadly they aren't much better then us. Other then O'reilly and barrie they haven't hit on any picks after the first round. Luckily they hit on first round picks from time to time..... canucks can't even do that. |

This is actually pretty lucky for the Canucks since these games don't count towards his 9 games. |

Apparently he was mostly in charge of North American picks so I wouldn't hold the Euro misses against him.
Barrie + O'Reilly outside of the first round is impressive. Plus they drafted Stefan Elliott in the 2nd round and he's really promising as well. |

If that timetable works out, it sounds like a good plan. Mind you I thought Linden said if he made the team, he wouldn't be going to the tourney.
I don't see him being on the top 2 lines so I have no issue with him going to the tourney. Looking forward to see how it unfolds. |

With @BoHorvat’s assignment today he will be eligible for 6 #Comets game. Wed vs. ADK though Nov. 1 vs ADK. That is max. He can leave sooner... |

You know, loss or not, that was a pretty fun game to watch last night! And that's really all I was wanting out of the team this season. They never stopped pushing, and they managed to keep this entertaining until the very end. Good on them!
I felt as though Lack probably should've had that 2nd Stamkos goal --it seemed kind of soft. But I guess it's to be expected when he hasn't really seen a worthwhile game in months.
I really felt that this game could've went either way. Canucks looked to have decent control in both the 2nd and third periods, but ran into a hot goalie and a couple of tough luck moments by hitting 2 late 3rd period posts.
Lots of people were quick to talk about Stammer's 3 point performance last night, but I honestly felt that Bishop was the difference maker. He was reading that top line of the Canucks perfectly! Always seemed to keep good track of where Vrbata was and made some key saves. |
