I'm just glad Stralman or Lack wasn't hurt on that one. It looked bad when Stralman went flying into the crease with both skates in the air.

Obviously a win would have been nice, but there are quite a few positives to take away from their first 'real' game of the seasons. The extent to which they controlled a good amount of the play, and the shot advantage they enjoyed were notable - and that was with their backup in goal against a potential Vezina candidate. The difference was unquestionably Stamkos, and well... he's Stamkos.

Still, they never had a lead, and Tampa played a pretty solid all-round away game - I'm curious to see what happens as this team progresses through this dense streak of games, including 3 straight against Western Conference playoff teams from last year.
