It's quite the predicament. I wonder if the KHL club would be open to the Sabres buying out his contract there, basically bribing them to release him. If not play him in Buffalo maybe 50% of the games.

41 looked much better last night. He was terrible a few of those 1st couple of games. Was semi ok vs Florida and ok last night. Thats progress! Atleast I hope.

At the trade deadline he'll still be owed a good chunk of change since he's stealing 4 mil this year from the Sabres. Who knows some team might give the Sabres a mid to late round pick. Trades at the deadline are inflated.

It's disappointing. As it was pointed out to me earlier, I said that nobody had a more golden opportunity than Meszaros. He got a second chance after a horrible couple of years, and he's getting paid pretty handsomely to do it. I expected to see more from him. Granted, it's still early, but it doesn't look good. Perhaps a new defense partner could still change things, but I'm not optimistic.

that whole laying down blocking shots thing but he's a much different player than what I thought he was or maybe he's just getting old. Benoit and mezarous have had a few awful games so far but I'm gonna try holding my tongue until the 10 game mark.

He had a chance to prove himself and either get an extension from Buffalo or cash in come July.

The injuries caught up with him and it's made him a bottom pairing guy at best.

I forced myself to rematch the afternoon replay of last nights sabres game and it was very frustrating watching kreji have his way when ennis was on the ice. That was a huge mismatch.
