so im a little confused...did we draft zadorov out of the khl? how the hell does he have a contract with them and why were we able to have him in the ohl last year

If Zadarov somehow doesn't ever end up a full time Sabre, then the Pominville trade went from looking great to awful

The KHL club obviously drafted him in their draft as well or however it works over there and holds his rites there like the Sabres hold his rites here.

If you read the article it stated that the KHL gave him a release last year from holding his rites which enabled him to play in the OHL but this year they are unwilling to do the same.

o wow i had no idea that two professional leagues were aloud to draft the same player and both have his rights, kinda (frank)ed up for the khl that theyll never see himn(not that i want them to)

When everyone was screaming we robbed minnesota I got scolded for saying that it was fair and there's a decent chance we could lose the deal.

Everyone drooled over Larsson and Hackett but they were essentially minnesota's version of Brayden McNabb and insert prospect we don't need here.


They could all end up being solid players, but everybody was so giddy at the time that nobody stopped to realize that there's a really good chance that none of the players and picks we got would ever be close to as good as Pominville.
