If you don't see yourself being a contender for three or four years, it means he'll be 33 years old by then, and his production probably goes down by then, as opposed to the 21 or 22 years old a McDavid or Eichel would be by that point.

While not a bad thing, not sure that's what Moulson needs.

I think you can get Staal for less then 6-7 years, only the Leafs are that dumb.
