No but hopefully guys like Ristolainen and Grigorenko don't woefully underachieve like Pajaarvi and Gagner.

Imo that was their biggest failure, for all the 1st overall picks, they've had a really bad drafting record outside the top picks.

That would be cutting off their nose to spite their face. There is no reason to make this team better short term right now at all. PR? Most fans have bought into the tank and want McDavid or Eichel. That is all the PR they need this year.

Ya, I forgot to put it in there but I mentioned that outside of Hall, their 1STs haven't been anything amazing (for a 1st overall pick) and that I would probably rather have the 3rd pick in this draft than either RNH/Yak. I actually would probably rather have Grigs than Yak.

He's had a rough start, a lot of it is his fault but some of it is poor support from teammates.

It's not just 1 player. It means our prospects have had a year in our minors to develop and other prospects have time to get into our system. Plus whoever we sign in offseason. We clearly didn't want to or was able to sell ou lineup to free agents but after we get 1 of the 2, fingers crossed, it's a lot easier to bring in help.

If they could find anyone to take Moulson's contract of their hands they should just do it. He's the worst "top 6" forward in the league

If they add a Crosby, Grigs, Reinhart, Pysyk, McCabe?, Armia?, a better Risto, I'd say maybe 70-75.

Also depends on who our goalie is.

Seen as I haven't been on the boards am I the only one whose noticed how utterly terrible Hodgson and Stafford have been?? I know the whole team has been bad but these two are downright pathetic. Like John Scott bad... Why Nolan thought it would be a good idea to 4th line and now bench Reinhart for that bum Hodgson is beyond me.. meanwhile teams like Edmonton are giving their 1st rounder a chance at a top 3 line role and see how he does before sending him down.. Sabres cant even handle Reinhart right...
