Thanks for yet another great blog, Bill.
Shame though that you had to point out that Chicago does so much damage at even strength, you know.. the place where the Flyers so often shoot themselves in the foot?
I'm going to be optimistic... its going to be a good game. |

I'm hoping the players play with a level of emotion and attention to detail commensurate with playing one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the league.
If they do that, they could be alright tonight.
If not, they are gonna be road kill. |

Hawks have yet to really get things cranked up this season. Here's hoping tonight is the night!! |

I guess I am one of the few fans who feel that this team is no better or even a little worse than last year. Playing the exact same way by either falling behind early and then desperately trying to rally or jumping out to a lead and then take the rest of the night off. This game is no test for the Flyers. A test is to see if they are ready to play against the NHL's elite and be successful and this team is not. I hope this team somehow proves me wrong but as a team they are terrible defensively and I am not just talking our 6 on the back end. The forwards contribute nothing to help our d-men who are not all that good themselves. Both goalies have been hung out to dry and every game would have been a blow out if it were not for them. |

I'm starting to wonder if Mase will be able to finish the season above a .900 SV%, with the way they're playing D in front of him.

Well, Coburn and Amac are back together tonight, so he can now relax when Toews and Kane are on the ice. |

I actually like Coburn. He and Amac haven't shown any chemistry together though. |

Do they play on the same line?
At least with Coburn back Streit and McDonald shouldn't be switching sides all night long. I haven't seen much media comment on it, but it was bizarre, even for Berube. |
